If you own a dog 4 months or older in Washington County, it is the law that you have it registered and vaccinated. Beginning Monday, there will be three days that owners can get their dogs vaccinated, and registered, if not already. There is a 1-year vaccine for $10 or the 3-year vaccine for $25. Registration is $4. If the dog has not been spayed or neutered, there will be an additional $10 fee. This state requirement keeps the state population control fund going.
