The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a couple of accidents in the past week. On Thursday, a vehicle driven by Anne Petry of Glen Carbon, struck a deer on Quarry Road. There were no injuries reported. There was a 1-vehicle accident on Sunday morning on State Route 127, south of Nashville, and 37-year old Rachel C. Jarret of Pinckneyville was arrested for Driving While License Revoked and cited for Improper Lane Usage. They also arrested Ryan D. Wooley on a Washington County Arrest Warrant For Theft Over $500. They responded to a residence in rural Hoyleton for a telephone harassment complaint, arrested 25-year old Kevin Davis of Granite City on a Washington County Warrant for Home Invasion, Aggravated Sexual Abuse and Aggravated Domestic Battery. The incident occurred on December 4th in Clarmin. They took a report of debris on Illinois Highway 127 near the Clinton County line that caused 2 flat tires on a vehicle. They made a welfare check at a residence on First Street in Addieville on Friday, took a report of theft from a residence in Addieville, received a report of telephone harassment, and arrested 20-year old Brett M. Smith of Mount Vernon for Driving While License Revoked and cited him for Improper Display of a Registration Plate. They also transported 36-year old Sally M. Moore of Belleville to the Washington County Jail, where she was issued a Warrant for 2 Failure To Appear for 2 traffic citations.
