A man from Centralia turns himself in on Wednesday, in regard to a shooting on Tuesday night along the 700 block of Rasback Street.  28-year-old Bart Brown, of St. Louis, was identified as the suspect in the incident, who was considered armed and dangerous at the time.  Police had asked for the public’s help in finding Brown, but he ended up turning himself in.  Brown was then questioned and booked inside the Marion County Jail, where he was charged with an aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm and illegal possession of a firearm.  Centralia police earlier reported that they received a call just before 6pm on Tuesday, where there was someone who was shot in the left shoulder and in the chest area.  The individual who was shot was found along the 700 block of East Rasback Street.  The man was then transported to an area hospital for treatment, which resulted in the man being transferred to a St. Louis area hospital.
