Two accidents were reported this past weekend in our area.  On Saturday, March 9^th, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident along County Highway 27, where 81-year-old Thomas Heidel, of Nashville, lost control of his vehicle and struck a culvert.  Heidel was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.  On Sunday, March 10^th, another accident was reported in Nashville.  Anthony Davis of Pinckneyville lost his front left wheel and ended up striking a truck, which had a trailer, driven by Jimmy Porter of Murphysboro.  Porter’s vehicle then ran over the detached tire, causing damage to both his truck and his trailer.  A 3^rd vehicle then ran over the debris on the roadway, causing a flat tire to Karen Kasban of Radom.  No injuries were reported from this accident.
