The Jefferson County Historical Society Afternoon Tea is returning! “This will be the first time we have hosted the Tea since 2020. Due to the pandemic, we stopped many of our indoor activities, but we have been adding them back as we have been able. This is going to be a relaxing and enjoyable event and we look forward to welcoming our guests”, Dana Uhls, JCHS Public Information Specialist.

The price is $20 per person for non-members and $15 per person for JCHS members. Seating is limited. Reservations are required and must be made by July 23rd. Call the JCHS office at 618-246-0033. The office is open weekdays from 12pm-4pm.

In addition to a selection of teas and coffee, a variety of the tastiest savory finger sandwiches, sweets and scones with jams and cream will be served. The tea will be served in an assortment of antique cups and saucers.
