The Nashville Police Department was very busy on Sunday, answering 8 of 22 reports since last Monday.  There were 2 reports of domestic dispute last Wednesday and Thursday to the same residence on the 600 block of East Elm Street.  There was another domestic dispute on the 100 block of East David Drive on Friday, one on Saturday on the 400 block of South Hoffman Street and another on Sunday on the 800 block of South Kaskaskia Street.  Other calls included a child custody exchange, a child custody visitation interference, as well as a phone report of a child custody dispute, a tree falling on 2 vehicles at Innertech, recovery of an abandoned bicycle, a welfare check and other suspicious persons or activity in the city.  There was also a call about a political sign being put in a yard without permission.  There was a fender bender on President’s Day on the Nascote parking lot and a hit and run at McDonald’s on Thursday.  No one was injured.  A couple of traffic stops resulted in citations being issued.  Last Monday, 55-year old Kevin Baetje of Nashville was stopped for alleged problems with the registration sticker on the vehicle.  He was cited for Operation of a Vehicle with an Expired Registration Sticker and Unlawful Display of Plates, while getting a verbal warning on No Front Registration Plates.  Also, on Saturday, 33-year old Kristin A. Harris-Moskop of Waterloo was stopped for allegedly speeding and was also cited for Driving While License Suspended.
