The Nashville Chamber of Commerce met yesterday for the general member meeting.  Executive Director Davanna Behr talked about Reality Day and how she has enough volunteers, but other Chamber members are welcome to help and watch 8th graders from the Nashville schools learn about getting a job and then making life decisions and paying the bills.  The event will be next Thursday from 8 to 11 AM at the Nashville Community Center in the gym.  Darlene Schomaker and Nancy Newby are providing snacks, while Kroger and Tom’s Supermarket are providing drinks.  Contact Behr at 327-3700.  She also talked about the Golf Outing on April 26th.  There are still slots available for teams for the 18 holes of golf and dinner afterwards.  Sponsorships for each hole are still available, as well.  Gift baskets donations are also being accepted from Chamber members to give away to the participants.  It is a best ball event with a long drive and closest to the pin contest on a couple of holes.  Registration will be at 10 AM with the shotgun start at 11 and dinner following at the American Legion Hall.  Again, call Behr at 327-3700 to sign up.  The next meeting will be on May 14th at Eagles Nest in Addieville at noon.
