Local authorities announce that there was an arrest of a 15-year-old juvenile, in regard to the alleged threat made against Centralia High School last week, resulting in a school lockdown for a short time. According to the school superintendent, the student was identified and arrested at the school last Thursday, and has been suspended the maximum 10 days. Further action against the student remains under consideration. Centralia police arrested the student and charged him for making a terrorist threat, after allegedly writing a note and making a threat to the school. The student was released to a family member, pending court action. The school was on lockdown at 1050am on Wednesday, after a teacher informed school administrators of a vague threat. Police were then called and checked the building, but they determined that the threat was not credible. The school returned to regular session after an hour of lockdown.
