Law enforcement agents are warning residents in the Mt. Vernon area, about multiple attempted murder suspects possibly heading towards the area.  According to the Coles County Sheriff’s Office, they are searching for 4 white males, who are wanted for an investigation of attempted murder in Charleston, which is about 30 miles south of Champaign.  Police say they are searching for a Gold GMC Envoy, which could be heading to the Mt. Vernon area.  Devon Jenkins is believed to be inside of the Envoy, and is considered armed and dangerous.  Jenkins is a 5-foot, 6-inch tall white male, weighing 140 pounds and with green eyes.  If you have any information on this vehicle or on the 4 suspected individuals, call 9-11 immediately.
